On 11th of December 2017, IIT Kanpur and Curtin University, Australia signed an agreement to award joint PhD degrees to the students.The delegation was headed by Prof. Abhijeet Mukherjee. Prof. Andrew was accompanied by Prof. Kayo Halloran, Prof Vidy Potdar, Prof Navdeep Dhami and Prof Ben Mullinns. Under this agreement, few students from both the universities will be admitted to the partner university and will be supervised jointly by the faculty of both the universities.
