Applications and recommendation letters should be sent by email to [email protected]

For Applications, the following format should be used :

Name and a contact number.
Affiliation, Present Position, and Area of Specialization.
Number of years spent in Ph.D (including course work) and courses taken at the Ph.D level.
Whether you have attended a previous Main SERC School (Yes/No)
List of Publications (if any).
Names and email ids of two referees.

Reference letters, to be directly sent by the referees to : [email protected] may use the following format :

Name and affiliation of the referee.
Name of the applicant, how long have you known him/her, and in what capacity.
Will the School be beneficial for the candidate's future research plan (the list of topics is available in our announcement, at http://www/iitk.ac.in/phy )
Your impression of the candidate and any other relevant comments.
